What We Believe
The beliefs of our church are simple, basic, and founded on traditional Lutheran principals.
We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God and is the authority in matters of faith and life.
We believe that we are saved by the grace of God through the death and resurrection of Jesus, and not by our own efforts.
We believe that our lives should be lived in accordance with God’s design as a result of our faith in this promise.
We believe that all people should be welcomed into our fellowship and should be able to receive the Sacrament of Holy Communion when they worship with us. Most of the recent new members received into our church do not necessarily have a Lutheran background.
We believe that to have a meaningful religious life we need to practice regular worship, prayers and reading of scripture. We worship because God transforms us.
We believe we are a people who grow together. We understand that faith always creates questions and doubt in our lives, but God reminds us that if we earnestly seek for answers we will be given answers.
We believe that the best way to serve God is to serve others in their needs. Jesus did instruct us to love others as ourselves.
We believe that what we profess in our worship should be lived out in our daily lives.
We believe that while we will never be perfect in our lives, we should continue to strive to live out God’s purpose for us.
