Sunday School presented their Easter program during the worship hour.
The youth and children of our church preformed a wonderful program.
Good evening everyone,
Just a reminder the youth fellowship activity is this coming Sunday (November 9th) after church. We'll have a picnic at Katherine Fleischer Park (Wells Branch). Everyone is welcome to bring a friend. Everyone please bring your own sack lunch. Drinks and snacks will be provided. After we have lunch we will play games like: Sand Volleyball, Kickball, throw the football, play soccer, etc. We will leave right after church at around 11:45 and we will be back at the church no later than 4:30.
Bad weather backup plan is ping pong/air hockey tournaments and pizza meal in Parrish hall.
I hope your child's able to make it!
Good afternoon! I just wanted to put the word out about the food drive that the older Sunday School children are having again this year. This year we are calling the food drive "Hands for the Hungry" to go with our motto of Our hands doing Gods work.
Last year our goal was to raise 200 pounds of food and we raised over 250 pounds! The Elgin Food Bank said it was one of the largest donations they received last year!
This food drive will again be benefiting the Elgin Food Bank. We will be collecting donations of non-perishable food items starting this Sunday and going through the 3rd or 4th Sunday in November. Please bring can goods, cereal, canned meats and other items. There will be a couple of Thanksgiving food baskets in the church every Sunday. Matt and I thank you for your support of our youth and their service project!
Our hands doing Gods Work!
The youth of our church presented a Puppet Show after the luncheon meal in the parish hall. They done such a wonderful job and had a lot of fun. They will be presenting this same show at the Dell Children Hospital later this year. Come visit us an become a member of our group.
Also, I wanted to let everyone know that our plan for the Puppet Show is as follows:
This coming Sunday September 21st: Perform our first practice of the puppet play in the parish hall beginning at 9:30. Please do your best to make sure your child is present so that we can make sure that we can get all the roles in the play assigned and also work on all of the logistics which are involved.
Sunday September 28th:
Perform Second Practice from 9:30 - 10:15 in Parrish Hall
Immediately Following Fellowship (12:30ish) perform Dry-Run of the Puppet Play for the congregation
Hopefully October time frame we will perform the play for Dell Children's Hospital. Yvonne Carroll is presently working on setting up a date with Dell Children's Hospital.
Thank you so much for the support! We are so proud of our youth!
Good afternoon everyone....September 7th.
As announced in Church this morning, we will have our youth fellowship activity next Sunday September 14th.
Right after church service we will take the youth to the Stone Hill Shopping Center in Pflugerville (Near the intersection of Toll Roads SH130 and SH45). We will eat lunch at the Whataburger at the shopping center, the meal will be furnished by the church utilizing some of the money raised by the youth at the Lasagna Fundraiser. After lunch we will take the youth to the Target that's also within the shopping center to purchase board games that will be used to play with the kids at the Dell Children's hospital and also for other community service activities. The plan is to have each of the youth pick out at least one board game each. The money from the Lasagna Fundraiser will be used to purchase the board games. Note we have earmarked $200, of the entire $600 that was raised at the fundraiser, for the board games.
Hi everyone....September 14th.
I wanted to thank all the youth for their participation today! They were very good and we are all very proud of them! We had a total of 6 youth today and 4 sponsors. We all enjoyed a good meal at the Whataburger in the Stonehill Shopping Center.

Afterwards we returned to church and the youth got to try out the board games and enjoyed snacks including popcorn, fruit snacks, chips, Caprisun, and more. A fun day was had by all. We also played some "Gaga Ball" at the end of the afternoon.
The youth of our church served lasagna plates (free will offering) on Sunday,August 17 to earn money to purchase board games(checkers, chess, ect:) for community service activities.
