HEB Gift Cards
Cards are available in $50 & $100 amounts. When you purchase a card you get the full value of your purchase price. The Foundation Center recieves a percentage separate from your purchase price.
This a great way to donate to the church without costing you anything. The cards can be used for any purchase in the store and at the gas pumps. This is a perfect win win situation and we'd like to encourage everyone to participate. You have to buy groceries and gas so why not help the church in the process.
Need a gift for someone or how about the person who has everything or just because? Why not give them a gift card!

Recipe for Ost Kaka
Ost Kaka (Swedish Cheese Pudding)
New Sweden 125th Anniversary Cookbook, Page 128
2 1/2 gallon whole sweet milk
1 1/2 c. additional milk
1 c. flour
1 rennet table (Hansen's cheese rennet)
1/2 c. lukewarm water
6 eggs, beaten
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. almond flavor
1 pint cream
Heat 2 1/2 gallons of milk to lukewarm. Make paste of flour and 1 1/2 cups milk. Stir paste into milk. Dissolve rennet in water and add to milk. Let stand for awhile. Cut through with knife so they can be drained off. (This part is similar to cheese making.) Combine eggs, sugar, salt, cream and flavoring; add to the drained curds. Turn into buttered baking dish. Bake 20 minutes at 400 degrees. Reduce heat to 350 degrees and bake 1 1/2 more hours.
